Ashfield Land purchased the site in 2007 as an income producing investment with a long-term redevelopment opportunity.
Working with the occupier, local metal castings business JVM Castings Ltd, Ashfield Land has overseen a site re-organisation and built a new Lidl food store on the previous site of the occupier’s car park, which opened in 2022.
This has enabled a new staff car park with electric vehicle charging points, a covered cycle store, and a dedicated heavy goods vehicle access for JVM Castings to be delivered on an under-utilised part of the site. Collectively, the site is now working far more efficiently for the occupier and the local area.
