Ashfield Land strengthens interest in Northampton strategic land site
19 Nov 2024
Ashfield Land has completed two new deals to acquire additional land into its strategic landholdings off J15A of the M1 and the A43 in Northamptonshire.
The deals increase Ashfield Land’s freehold ownership to in excess of 400 acres. Both were off-market transactions.
The site, closely connected to the M1 at J15A and with a frontage to the A43, is in a highly accessible and sustainable location. It has outstanding connectivity – in addition to the strategic road connections, it is directly adjacent to the Northampton Loop railway line as well as the West Coast Mainline.
Andrew Fisher, Managing Director of Ashfield Land, said: “We’re pleased to have increased our landholdings in one of the best-connected locations in the region. Northampton is growing and the economic opportunity in the Silverstone/Brackley/Towcester A43 corridor is substantial. With the potential changes to the NPPF and emerging industrial strategy, we see opportunity to bring forward a site that offers real strategic benefit.”
