Expands Scotland portfolio with Pyramids Business Park
25 Jan 2016
Ashfield Land has completed the acquisition of Pyramids Business Park in Bathgate, Scotland from Clearbell.
The 93-acre site currently accommodates 375,000 sq ft of flexible office, distribution warehousing, and production space. In addition, the site has excellent on-site conference facilities, including a gym, childcare, and leisure facilities.
Situated ten miles to the west of Edinburgh Airport, the business park is easily accessible by car or by fast rail links. The M8 motorway runs along the southern border and connects Pyramids Business Park to Edinburgh and Glasgow city regions with the respective city centres 30 and 45 minutes from the Park. Bathgate Rail Station, which links commuters to Edinburgh, is also less than a mile away.
Current occupiers include HMRC, Baillie Gifford, Plexus and Redeem. Costa Coffee anchors the leisure amenities.
Ashfield Director Steven McGarva said: “Pyramids Business Park presents Ashfield with a terrific mixed-use scheme that has attracted some excellent tenants due to its convenient positioning between Edinburgh and Glasgow. We look forward to building an excellent working relationship with existing tenants and we will work with local partners and our professional team to further improve the on-site facilities and leasing options”
Over the past two years, Ashfield have been extremely active in Scotland and continue to look for investment and development opportunities in the region.
