Rapid rise of Regent Circus
14 Apr 2013
Construction of Swindon’s exciting new £50 million Regent Circus development is progressing well and is on course to open next year as scheduled.
The steel frame of the impressive structure is being erected and Swindon residents can see that Ashfield Land and construction partners ISG are working hard to deliver a first class leisure and retail destination.
Ashfield Land director James Digby said: “We are making excellent progress at Regent Circus. The frame is now coming out of the ground rapidly and we are on target for the scheme to launch next autumn“
Interest from the restaurant sector is very strong and we continue to get enquiries from leading restaurant brands regarding the remaining available units. More pieces of the jigsaw are falling into place and we will soon see the complete transformation of this part of Swindon town centre.”
We recently announced that Coal Grill & Bar is the latest operator to sign a lease for a unit at the development. We are also in advanced negotiations with other interested parties for the two remaining units and kiosk. Further announcements will be made in the near future.
