Investing in refurbishment at Bridgend Shopping Centre
07 Nov 2017
Ashfield Land has commenced the first phase of a planned refurbishment at Bridgend Shopping Centre following its acquisition of the centre earlier this year.
The company is currently undertaking re-painting and improvements to the public areas within the scheme (including new CCTV) and an important brightening up of the centre.
Ashfield Land is also looking to invest in improvements to the centre’s facades, canopies and signage in the next phase of planned investment.
The refurbishment follows on from the recent openings of Greggs and Kaspa’s who have both taken prominent units at the front of the centre.
Nick Scott, Director at Ashfield Land, said: “We’re investing into Bridgend Shopping Centre and these early changes are hugely positive. We’re focused on attracting new tenants in to provide a good mix and, at the same time, freshening up and enhancing the public space and customer experience. We’re looking forward to making further important improvements and continuing the overall programme of upgrading and repositioning the centre.”
