New HQ offices planned for Parkway

16 Apr 2015

We have recently acquired a 2.5 acre site adjacent to our existing Parklands investment in North Bristol.

The site is ideally located. Bristol Parkway train station is a 2 minute walk away and the Bristol to London line is currently being electrified. This will reduce the journey time to an hour by 2017. In addition the Bristol metro bus link, which runs past the site, and a new dual carriageway to the M32 (and M4/M5 beyond) will be completed in the next 2 years.

A Planning application will be submitted in Q4 2015 for an exemplar headquarters office building of up to 200,000ft. The building will be designed to the highest architectural and environmental standard.

Andrew Fisher, Managing Director of Ashfield Land comments:-

‘With its excellent transport links, Parklands is the best office development opportunity in the city. Bristol is continually regarded as one of the best places in the UK to work and live and Parklands is therefore very well placed to attract high profile occupiers particularly those companies looking to relocate from London and the South East. We plan to build a leading office development that takes advantage of the latest technological and architectural innovations and bolsters Bristol’s growing reputation as one of the foremost hubs for business in Britain’.
