We are pleased to announce a recent land transaction that represents a significant sale for Ashfield Land (Birmingham) Ltd in a mould breaking yield of 5.5%.

The one acre site situated at Dogpool Lane, Stirchley, Birmingham has been sold to St Andrews Healthcare for £1 million, subject to an existing tenancy with the Birmingham & Solihull Mental Health NHS Trust.

Ashfield Land purchased the 9 acre site in Stirchley in 2006 and subsequently achieved planning permission for some 125,000 square feet for healthcare use on 8 acres of the land, which was then sold and developed on behalf of St Andrews Healthcare.

The remaining acre was re-let to the Birmingham & Solihull Mental Health NHS Trust on a ten year lease and is now being sold with them in situ, at a rent of £55,000 per annum.
